On the general tab, you have the following:
Show Hints: Tells the program whether to show hints or not when the mouse is hovered over a control.
First Time Run of the Application: Tells the program that it is the first run of the program. This can be used to reset this value - that may be used when you contact the support team.
Select Application Skin: This drop down allows you to choose what skin you want to use with the application. This allows you to use a primarily dark skin, light skin, etc. The program defaults to the "Basic" skin - which is the Windows default skin.
Grid & Pivot Grid Formats: These four fields allow you to set the default formats that the Grids will use to display the different types of data.
| Date Fields: | You can use the drop down to pick from a number of defaults. By default we use "yyyyy-MM-dd". You can change it so that you can display time, full names of days and months, etc. |
| Integer Fields: | You can configure it so that integers are displayed with thousand separators and whether or not it shows with a decimal point and following digits |
| Decimal Fields: | You can configure it so that decimal are displayed with thousand separators and whether or not it shows with a decimal point and following digits |
| Currency Fields: | You can configure it so that currency fields are displayed with thousand separators and whether or not it shows with a decimal point and following digits. You can also decide whether to show the currency symbol or not by entering in a custom format. |
